Okay, many of you will quickly note not all of these tunes have made it onto the Billboard Top 40 chart, but you should know you can hear most of these tunes on Top 40 radio stations upon occasion. This has always been one of my most popular playlists at parties, but I’ve always used it for running/walking and you should too!
- Peace Frog – The Doors: Our very own Memphis Grizzlies basketball team occasionally uses this song during timeouts to keep the crowd upbeat. Until the last few years you would have been hard pressed to hear this song anywhere, but all of a sudden it’s hot.
- SuperHero – Jane’s Addiction: Yes, this is the theme music for the television show Entourage. I guess this song is why Drama is always working out.
- You Get What You Give – New Radicals: I wonder if the members of this group are now grown up Republicans?!?!?
- Glorified G – Pearl Jam: How the hell does Daughter get released as the lead single from this album instead of this?
- Feel Good Inc. – Gorillaz: If I were Damon Albarn I would quit Blur and remain virtual.
- Walkie Talkie Man – Stereogram
- Vertigo – U2: 1, 2, 3, 14?
- Ready To Go – Republica
- Jerk It Out – Caesars
- Are You Gonna Be My Girl – Jet
Total time: 36.1 minutes
Always remember to hydrate!

iTunes and I both encourage the discovery of new music for all. You won’t even have to leave your couch.
